What will you do during the FFXI update?

One of my friends said to me: "Gotta work, gonna take off for lunch around 3pm CST and come home to start the update downloads if available, then back to work for another 4 hrs. Once home if download not done gonna change the channel and work on FFX2 to see if I can get dark knight high enough to take on Vegnagun. First time through it and assured a Good ending. All things going smoothly I should be online by 10pm and have all day tuesday to figure everything out."

FFXI Skilling up Healing

It took me nearly a year of meriting on my White Mage to finally cap Healing Magic skill, so don't be too hung up on it at your early level. There's still plenty of healing to do until then. As for healing skill, even under cap you're going to be healing well in the dunes, especially if you bring along some mind. No worries. (However, once you are an appropriate level, I found it useful to hang out in besieged to level my healing skill. Running around curing anyone you see is also a nice way to get a ton of ISP, I was able to cap my healing skill shortly after hitting 75).

FFXI Fishing Guide

The FFXI Gil game Mithra is one of the five original races of the Final Fantasy XI adventure. These are cat-like creatures that are known to have come from a southern island named Tsahya. During the present game day they live in the Federation of Windurst.

Neth hints gold sink

With the advent of the Burning Crusade, flying and epic flying mounts at 70 became a sink for the extra gold floating around Outlands in player's pockets. There has been speculation ever since about what a similar sink might be in Wrath of the Lich King.

FFX Gil

The Scholar has access to black and white magic (damage and healing spells, respectively) but works best as a support type of character. He can augment the power of black or white magic spells for the rest of the party. He also has access to some decent damage over time spells (DoTs) that allows him to stand away from the action and still contribute.

Tips to make ffxi gil

Fishing, while listed under the craft area of the menu in Final Fantasy XI, is not considered a true craft by some players. This is due the fact that you don't actually craft anything. You buy a fishing pole and bait, then go stand by just about any body of water in the game and you're able to fish. Fishing is a great way to make gil in Final Fantasy XI. This is because it requires little gil to start up, in fact, you can get a fishing pole and some simple bait for less than 1k.

Final Fantasy XI: A Look at the Black Mage

No other character has been so indelibly burned into our memory as the image of the Final Fantasy Black Mage. The image of the pointy straw hat, dark robes, glowing beady eyes and shadowed face are forever the icon of the dark arts. To be a Black Mage is to wield the unfettered powers of the elements, bringing their terrible power to bear against any foe that would stand against him. Final Fantasy XI is no different in its portrayal of the Black Mage. The Black Mage's job is nothing short of damage dealer and few jobs hit as hard in realms of magic as it allows. The downside to employing such a furious power? I think that can be summed up in the nickname "glass cannon". The Black Mage can dish out the pain but when the favor is returned by a powerful and angry mob, the Black Mage won't last for long.

FFXI AH Techniques

Unfortunately in FFXI Gil game, you only receive one content ID to play with initially that lets you create a single character unless you pay an additional $1.39 for 2 more character slots. You will need to get a total of 3 slots to use this guide. You will need 3 characters, one in each major city. Bastok, San d'Oria, and Windhurst. Items in 1 city may be valued more than another depending on availability and etc. Whichever city you choose to play as your main is fine. As you complete quests, build your fame and receive rewards and items, be sure to check out the AH in other cities to check where it's selling at the highest rate.

FFXI Gil Guide

Start a production chain. Many miners already understand this one. So, I'll use mining as an example. Mining can be a wonderful way to make money. HOWEVER, if you sell the ores, you're just lining the smiths' or goldsmiths' pockets with gil. They're charging a markup on your ores. So, start smithing or goldsmithing yourself! Turn those ores into ingots, then turn the ingots into products (or just sell the ingots directly). Generally, with each stage of a product's life you make a profit. You profit from mining the ores... you turn the ores into ingots and they're worth more. You turn the ingots into products and they're worth even more. You're forcing your item to appreciate in value. So, instead of selling an ore for 500 gil, you're selling a piece of armour for 3000 gil.

Basic FFXI Gil Tips Continued

Regional vendors only sell items if that kingdom controls that region for the week. For example, many cooking ingredients can only be obtained from the Lower Elshimo regional vendor. Since that area (Yuhtunga Jungle) is often controlled by beastmen, one possible strategy would be to find out what ingredients the vendor sells, then stock up on the in-demand ones while the region is under player control. When it reverts to beastman control, you have a firm grip on the market for that product and can often set your own prices. You create a short-term monopoly on the product, until you run out of supply or the region gets retaken by players.
